WHEN "LUV" COMES TO TOWN
WHEN INTERNET "LUV" COMES TO TOWN - VULNERABLE PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE

MNN. Oct. 6, 2008. We've come to realize that this whole "love" scamming business on the internet is being studied and schemed by agents of the elite thugs. One category is the "player" and the "target". "Players" are predators of other human beings. They operate from their own unwritten "con manual" on how to carefully "profile" their targets, move in and get what they want. Intelligence agencies have scientifically studied this and converted it into internet relationships which lead to a map of how to subvert individuals and communities.

The players have determined that there are basic personality types and traits of the targets, along with age, physical appearance, ethnicity, culture, income, etc. From this a player develops models of their targets, how they can play them and how they are likely to behave. A player learns how to spot these people when he enters a room like a bar or an internet "chat room". We are not denying that genuine relationships have developed on the net.

Players with an agenda now do a lot of their hunting on the "net" where they hide and reveal only what they want. Through high tech social networks in emails and correspondence they can make up any scenario the target is looking for. When they can't get near the intended target, they go for someone close or on the periphery.

Women in Western society are basically not liberated. They are mentally oppressed and lack self-esteem. This conditions them to feed into the lucrative cosmetic, fashion, self-help and image improvement industries. Women are conditioned to be compliant in male-female relationships which makes them vulnerable. This is just what the players want.

Some players are looking for money and maybe a specific type of relationship. For example, women over 30 could be getting desperate to marry and are more likely to have some money saved up. They are often generous, want to please and crave attention. Socially excluded women are especially targeted when money is the main goal. Their self-esteem is often low. They are vulnerable to flattery and attention.

If the player is presentable and overstates their credentials [and can't prove them] and goes after a lonely, marginalized, unworldly, naïve woman, he may be "playing" the target. They know how to play out the dream using the target's energy that they've carefully studied. After a short high powered internet romance, they meet. Friends and family usually can see through the player and try to warn the affected person, to no avail. The vulnerable party has been charmed, put into an enchanted state and can't see the duplicity or danger. We hear stories about how creeps entice under-aged kids on the net. We need to protect them.

The predator drives into town in a nice expensive vehicle, not a big old rusted "pow wow" car with a supped-up sound system. The target sees nothing but wonderful qualities built up in their besotted imagination. For the players it's an energy field to be manipulated. They play into their victims' fantasies and act out what the target is seeking.

Sometimes love is mutual and real in these 'Harmony.com' romances. For some being "in love" is like a state of intoxication. Having sex can cause a euphoric and non-analytical state of mind. It opens a person up to being manipulated by a predator.
Intelligence agents have different priorities but use the same strategies. They can work the target up to a point of defrauding them of their assets, gathering information or controlling or compromising their lives for monetary, political or military purposes.

Since the days of "Cointelpro" [U.S. Counter Intelligence Program], intelligence agents have been trained to infiltrate groups, movements and communities. They play roles developed by psychologists with considerable insight into human behavior. They recruit agents in the target communities to work with them.

When an intelligence agent/player/predator is trying to infiltrate a movement, they will set their sights on the leaders, the outspoken ones and the passionate youth. If they cannot directly access their target, they go after their associates, even the family. Agents have been known to go all the way with their targets, even marrying and having children with them on long term assignments.

Players and agents have personality profiles too. Primarily everybody says he is a "nice guy" and too good to be true! The clean cut one with a pleasant smile and a charming manner with the ladies is the better type. The surly scruffy types do not make good players except in other circumstances. Some women like their men wild and wooly! Their handlers realize that they have to take their agents, put them in dirty blue jeans and drag them up and down the road for a bit for some assignments. Intelligence agencies hire people to do this kind of work regardless of criminal record and background. They go after a personality type and then train them. After a while the player goes into the "poor me" syndrome as though everyone treated them badly, especially an ex-spouse. There are usually gaps in their personal history, things they don't want to talk about or periods of time they can't or won't explain. Some players can lead 2 or more lives in different places. Here are some traits of the "player":
1. They are charismatic, or at least charming;
2. They often have insider connections. They arrive informed as a result of their training and studying the profile of the target or community.
3. They situate themselves deep into the community. They show no fear of the law and its consequences because they are protected. They set up innocent people in compromising positions and entrap them into situations they can't back out of.
4. They come into the community in many different ways like working in Indigenous businesses. These mysteriously begin to fall apart. Then the player is gone. In the end we are discredited.
5. They support any position in the community so long as they can get on the inside to exploit, escalate or heighten the outsiders' agenda. They subtly bait the person or group into confusion and chaos. It can be either short or long term. Then they disappear.

Intelligence agencies use these strategies to sidetrack us and any legitimate social movements into dead ends, disinformation and wasted time. They gain the confidence of their target. They try to exploit human weaknesses like greed, dishonesty, and vanity, but also virtues like honesty, compassion or a naïve expectation of good faith. Some drift into a community purporting to be "Indian" or even former members of the American Indian Movement.

Our so-called vulnerability goes back to how we treat animals that are part of our natural world since time immemorial. We Indigenous never domesticated them. There was a natural cycle of dependency on each other. We did not kill the young. This symbiotic relationship changed when the invaders came and started killing us and penning us up. The animals became afraid of human beings which they had never been before.

Victimization is possible because of the imbalance that has been created between us and our environment which is supposed to be dependent on physical attraction as part of our natural world. This is being displaced. Colonists have developed controls over their domestic animals which they use as weapons to sic on their victims.

To protect oneself is to know oneself. Players and agents have studied our vulnerabilities and will move in on the weak flank. So keep it covered. Stand as an equal in a relationship. Go to people in your life that you trust and respect. It could be your brother, your mom or your close friends. If they don't like your new found love that just came to town, they may see something you don't see. After all, love is blind. If the new "luv" is for real, they will respect your wishes. Watch out if they try to influence you against your family and friends. When the player isolates the victim, that's when they go in for the kill. Here's where you do what you did before luv came to town! Is it possible to turn off the computer and find a face-to-face genuine relationship today?

DESTRUCTION AND DEATH OF INDIGENOUS YOUTH THROUGH THE SCIENCE OF SEXUAL ABUSE
– ANOTHER LOOK AT PEDOPHILIA IN CANADIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS.
By Karakwine & MNN Staff

MNN. Sept. 7, 2008. Pedophilia is a violent sexual attack on children. Pedophilia is a covert criminal activity used globally by the elites. The clerical collar and the nun’s robes have been the perfect cover. It has long been a product of the strategies used by the elite to control and dominate the rest of the population. A small minority of human beings [2 to 3%] has no compunction about destroying and killing people to make it to the top of the European-style hierarchy. Governments, judiciary, the police and the Catholic and other Christian churches colluded in this well thought out system of debauchery. It did not happen randomly. Our children were snatched and put in residential schools, debased and many were killed.

The elite foisted their depravity on us to weaken and destroy us. These vulgar, immoral and violent acts were meant to bring down our normal healthy self-esteem for many generations to come. We were conditioned to blur the difference between lust and decency. As the owners of the land and resources they coveted, they needed to weaken us, turn us into victims and kill us off. They had to remove us so they could turn Onowaregeh/Turtle Island into a “terra nullius”, a land with no inhabitants.

The program for the mainstream public is different. They are being conditioned to accept treatment as cannon fodder for the irrational connivance of the elite. An example of conditioning is the 2007 Vanity Fair photos of adolescent actor, Miley Cyrus, and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. This seductive photo of the girl lying across her father’s lap, both dressed provocatively, suggests that the public is being prepared to cross another moral line. Incest! As a 15 year old “commodity”, Miley Cyrus is a victim too! Even flesh colored baby diapers are designed to make little babies look naked. The internet is satisfying perverted lusts showing men having sex with babies. Babies are sacrificial lambs worldwide.

The top players in such a sick scenario are never caught or called to account. They have their “official” apparatus in place to protect themselves and their minions. Vile perversions are their drug of choice. George Bush Sr., an eastern establishment blue-blood, while he was U.S. President, was touched by a whiff of scandal involving young boys. [www.thelawparty.com/ FranklinCoverup/franklin.htm]

Whenever a scandal involving children breaks out, all avenues of inquiry are shut down. Only the low level perpetrators go to jail. The Detroux affair in Belgium is an example. [www.illuminati-news.com/2007/0724a.htm] That monster kidnapped and sodomized hundreds of children and murdered an unknown number. He had 7 villas in Belgium where he tortured, drugged and produced snuff and porn films. Then he killed the little girls and hid their bodies. His wife helped procure many of the children for him. He said at his trial in 2004 that he had accomplices among police officers, businessmen, doctors and high level politicians. None of the officials who perpetrated this perversion were touched. He, his wife and two accomplices are serving long jail sentences.

Dutroux is small potatoes compared to the murderous rampage carried out by the Canadian government, Catholic, Presbyterian, Anglican and United churches FOR OVER A CENTURY!!! Nobody went to jail for murdering over 50,000 Indigenous children in the residential school “torture dungeons”. Not one person! This is a perversion of justice. Our children were victims of medical experiments, rape, sodomy, starvation, floggings and strangulations. Children were coerced to kill other children and then bury them. Several skeletons of newborn babies were found in school furnaces.

The children were rounded up and sent to judges, police, politicians and professionals to be sexually exploited. The residential school program supplied our children in pedophile rings to men in high places who had a taste for very young brown skinned kids. In the book “Where Eagles Dare to Soar”, the author, Kevin White, said that they preferred to abuse our kids because they got a kick out of degrading our naturally healthy attitude about ourselves.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper did say, “Sorry” and then swept it all under the rug. The Canadian government seems to think that the reparation money they’ve paid out is the price they have to pay to continue raping us. In the subconscious minds of the elite, paying their victims is like going to a brothel and paying for sex. Our kids are in grave danger. In Vancouver and other western cities there are still streets where men go to have sex with little native children. Vancouver is turning into Canada’s Thailand where foreign men go on “sex junkets” for little brown skinned kids.

It is alleged that Boston Massachusetts is the pedophile capital of the U.S. This is where the Catholic church was exposed over priests abusing little boys for decades and being covered up and protected by the church. The church used religion as a sideline to carry out perversion, extract money from the people and to keep their flock dumbed down and forever victimized.

The establishment learn early the science of subjugating helpless kids and people. Normal humanity is systematically conditioned out of them and replaced with a cold merciless mindset. The ivy league schools where the upper crust send their children trains them to look down on those they think are the “unwashed masses”.

They are guaranteed top positions to run their criminal cartel. We all know how difficult it is for us “normals” to get a decent job in their hierarchy unless we are willing to become depraved. For most of us the glass ceiling is very low. We constantly hit our heads on it. It doesn’t matter how much formal education we get.

The set up is deliberate. The kids who have been escaping the social chaos caused by the residential school “brothel” program have been funneled into Canadian cities for decades. It was obvious that safe houses and hospices were needed for these extremely vulnerable young people. Instead of providing protection and support, officials turned a blind eye. They paved the way for pig farmers like Picton in Vancouver to snatch and “disappear” them on a massive scale over a long period of time. The cops also refuse to investigate the disappearance of over 500 Indigenous young women.

Child abductions and suffering of our children and our families appear to be a sexual turn-on for these degenerates. They thirst to subjugate the human race. The fact that drugs so readily come into our communities unabated points to the main culprit - the government. They want to help create a cowering and submissive Indigenous People. This goes against our natural order. In the long run it isn’t going to work. Many drug and alcohol riddled communities are now cleaning up.

The public were shocked when they learned the truth about the collusion between governments, police and the church. When will we see popes, presidents, Canadian prime ministers, top judges, top police, senators, members of parliament, all levels of clergy and CEOs go to jail, along with their many flunkies and henchmen?

The goal of this deluded scheme is to steal our territory and resources. To them the land owner has to be sexually subjugated and molested. Then in the perpetrators mind they now own the land. The idea is to degrade us so we will become degenerates. It is a deliberate way to destroy the race. We can see what’s going on. We are keeping an eye on our children.

PM HARPER'S "APOLOGY' TO BE OFFICIALLY REJECTED
For Immediate Release: Breaking News from Squamish Nation Territory

Prime Minister Harper's "Apology" to Be Officially Rejected by Residential School Survivors at Rally and Press Conference

Vancouver, 18 June, 2008

Disgusted by the attempt by Canada and its churches to exonerate themselves with an "apology" for crimes against humanity in their Indian Residential Schools, grassroots survivors and their elders will rally in Vancouver next Monday, June 23, to publicly reject the apology.

Led by The Friends and Relatives of the Disappeared (FRD) and hereditary elders, residential school survivors will say no to the Harper apology, and condemn what they see as an attempt by the Harper government to trivialize and hide the reality of genocide in Canada.

"They say they're sorry, but that won't bring back the kids I saw killed at the Catholic school in Kamloops" said survivor William Combes on the Hidden from History radio program this week.

"If they're so sorry, then when will the priest who killed them be brought to trial? How come the churches are off the hook?"

Combes and others will rally next Monday, June 23 at 10 am (PST) at the office of the government's Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada (IRSRC) at 1166 Alberni street in downtown Vancouver.

A press conference will be held at that time and location, where a letter will be issued to Prime Minister Harper and the United Nations from residential school survivors and the FRD.

This IRSRC office was the scene of a sit-in by residential school survivors last year that pushed Ottawa to issue its "apology".

"Steven Harper should be in jail" commented second generation survivor Rob Morgan of the Nishga Nation, who led last year's occupation.

"He admitted in Parliament that Canada and its churches deliberately planned the residential schools, that killed thousands of kids. So why aren't they all facing trial now? We made them apologize, but now we're going to make them face the music for what they did and are still doing to us."

The FRD is one of several groups that is sponsoring an independent inquiry into Canadian residential schools and the death and burial of children that will run counter to the government's dubious "Truth and Reconciliation Commission".

Last April 10, the FRD released a list of twenty eight mass graves near former Indian Residential Schools across Canada where countless children who died in these schools are interred. An updated list of burial sites and other evidence is being compiled by FRD researchers.

CANADA CONFESSES TO PART OF ITS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
–THERE HAS FINALLY BEEN AN OFFICIAL APOLOGY FOR ‘MURDER”, RAPE…

MNN. June 11, 2008….SODOMY, PEDOPHILIA, GERM WARFARE, STERILIZATION, MEDICAL EXPERIMENTS AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE EVEN NECROPHILIA OF INDIGENOUS CHILDREN IN ORDER TO “STEAL” OUR LAND AND RESOURCES.
This is a start. Now we have to deal with other big issues, sovereignty and resources.

Our people were kidnapped and held hostage for three to four generations. Genocide is taking children away and killing them. It was only a small part of a bigger story of “gangsterism” and greed. Don’t be fooled! That evil program is still in full swing. Canada has no intention to stop. They continue to drive us off our land, to criminalize us, incarcerate us and to refuse to return control of our land and resources to us.

We don’t like being lied to. Saying “sorry” doesn’t cut it. Canada practically admitted to “murder” and theft in the first degree. While Prime Minister Harper was reciting his apology in the House of Commons, a permanent injunction was being granted to the city of Brantford to stop us from going onto our own lands to stop illegal development and to bring in the army if necessary. What forked-tongued two-faced hypocrisy! Anywhere else in the world when a people are threatened with military force, it is a “declaration of war”.

Every Canadian benefited from these crimes against humanity. They came here from Europe with empty hands. Stephen Harper said, “We are planning to move on”. This means that the perpetrators of these heinous crime have to be prosecuted in the international courts. More important, Canada is bound to the original relationship as “visitors” to our land who made promises to live peacefully under the Two Row Wampum Agreement. We are the land and resources owners and they have to negotiate with us to extend their stay.

Our future is tied to the Kaianereh’ko:wa, the law of Onowaregeh, Turtle Island. We cannot “bury the hatchet”! Planned murders of our children by the church and state cannot be pardoned anywhere. Canada broke international law to which they are bound.

At this moment illegal deals are being made by the government and its puppet band councils to deceive the people. Fraud and corruption is used to privatize under NAFTA every unsurrendered river and stream in British Columbia to send our water to California.

Is this desperation because Canada and the U.S. or someone is trying to keep the colonial scam going? Canada absolved the churches of responsibilities. The program to murder school children and to put them in unmarked graves was not random. All the churches, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and United, stepped up to the plate to do dirty deeds for the state. It was part of the “program” to remove us completely to claim Onowaregeh, Turtle Island. What kind of special education does it take to forget that it’s wrong to kill kids?

Harper admitted they did not know our culture, our traditions and did not respect our basic human rights. They still don’t. Now that they have clearly admitted to being “busted”, shouldn’t the genocide stop?

The colonizers must respect our sovereignty, identity and culture. To start, they must stop all uranium and diamond mining, clear cutting and contamination of our environment. Stop trying to put us away in jails and holding cells to punish us for protecting the environment. Every single piece of Turtle Island, our resources and possessions must be returned to us so we can regenerate the natural beauty and health of Turtle Island.

Nothing is going to change if they can help it. To stop racism and lies the true history has to be taught in every school. Our education and language programs have to be improved. Clean water and decent homes have to be provided to all of us. All the elements that work together to demoralize our young people and incite them to commit suicides have to be stopped.

Canada is going to put up a monument as a symbol of this apology. Take down those hideous monuments to the true murderers of our people like Champlain, Humphrey Gilbert, Laverendrye, DeDenonville, Amherst and other scoundrels. Towns are still named after these mass murderers. Get rid of that depiction of the tied up Indian in bondage on the Clock Tower of the Parliament Building. We cannot rebuild our nations on monuments or empty words. Real reconciliation means restoring the traditional homelands and resources of the various Indigenous people who have been dispossessed. Anything less is a farce.

Canada stage managed this performance. It was sickening to see colonial lap dog Phil Fontaine of the Assembly of First Nations accept Harper’s apology on our behalf. It was a pre-written script probably by government spinners. We were never asked if we wanted him to accept this apology or to even accept it. The supporting remarks were made by the heads of colonially funded “puppy dog” organizations that jump to their “master’s” commands.

The money being offered to some of the victims is our own money. Any profit from our lands held in trust is “blood money”. We want an economy. Stop depriving us and forcing us out of our communities. Release all our trust funds immediately. Everything that was “kicked back” to the Vatican must be returned to us. These churches that committed these atrocities have investments from our lands worth billions and have combined stock portfolios in the billion if not trillions. Release these to us. Give us our funds that the Canadian government holds as “trust funds”, namely the “Indian Fund”, the “Consolidated Revenue Fund” and the “Contingent Liability Fund”. Give us a full detailed accounting of everything from the beginning.

All levels of government should stop issuing illegal permits for exploitation of our lands and resources. Stop using our land and resources as collateral to borrow on international money markets.

The Queen and all the other “carpet baggers” who head the corporate criminal organizations that murder, rape and pillage us and our possessions should now be prosecuted in the international court for their crimes.

Our parents were threatened with imprisonment if they did not release their children to the control of the church and state. How long does it take to forget what our children saw – other children being murdered and even being forced to help bury them. They were deliberately given contagious diseases from which many died. There was out-and-out murder of over 50,000 at the hands of teachers, priests, nuns and staff. Our children were used in experiments by German doctors in the 1930’s and then disposed of. The children were threatened to never tell anyone about it.

It was the “I Apologize” Show, with Phil in a war bonnet, with smudging, all players with their scripts in hand and an audience seated strategically around. Someone on cue even yelled from the House of Commons gallery, “Way to go, Phil. You are our leader”. This government sanctioned desperado is not our leader! The sanitized plot did not include murder, torture, sterilization, kids witnessing killings and medical experiments on them.

You, the abusers, are in dire need of healing. In Australia the prime minister apologized to the Aborigines and they now live under a form of ‘martial law’! What will happen now when the army is brought in on us as happened in 1990?

Residential School Atrocity - Why an apology is wrong!
Author's Note:

This article below was offered to the Canadian media as an exclusive piece last week, and was rejected or ignored by the following newspapers:

The Globe and Mail, The National Post, The Montreal Gazette, The Toronto Star, The Ottawa Citizen, The Ottawa Sun, The Winnipeg Free Press, The Edmonton Sun, The Vancouver Sun, The Province, The Alberni Valley Times, The Epoch Times, and the Victoria Times Colonist:

Why an Apology is Wrong, and Deceptive:
Bringing Humanity to Bear on the Residential
School Atrocity

by Rev. Kevin Annett

Rend your hearts, and not your garments
Joel 2:17

Imagine for a moment that your own child goes missing and never comes home. Years pass, and one day, the person responsible for your child's death is identified, but he evades arrest and imprisonment simply by issuing to you an "apology" for your loss. He even speaks of seeking "reconciliation" with you.

How would you feel?

Hold on to that feeling, and now multiply your loss by many thousands of children, and make the guilty person the government and churches of Canada. Do so, and you will have arrived in a human way at the Indian Residential Schools atrocity.

One of my former parishioners put it another way:

"What we did to those native children was an abomination, and abominations aren't resolved with words and money. We need to have our hearts torn in two and be changed. We've got to stand, ourselves, under the judgment of God."

I doubt that Stephen Harper would be satisfied with an apology if his own kids were hauled off and killed for being practicing Christians. Yet on June 11, 2008, he will stand up on our behalf and try to apologize to other nations for having exterminated their children.

The whole effort seems more than ludicrous, or obscene. One cannot, after all, apologize to the dead. But the truth is, the government's planned "apology" to native people is an enormous exercise in deception - primarily self-deception.

Do we even know the meaning of that easily uttered term, "apologize"?

It actually has a double meaning, according to the internet Dictionary: a) "an acknowledgment of regret for a fault or offense" and b) "a formal justification, defense or excuse for one's actions".

That is, in our vernacular understanding of the term, an "apology" can be a genuine regret for one's acts; but it can equally be a way to evade responsibility for one's acts, by justifying oneself before one's victim.

The legal understanding of the word, however, is more specific, and has nothing to do with regret: "apology" is defined simply as "a disclaimer of intentional error or offense".

A disclaimer.

Now, I'm assuming that the government of Canada relies on legal definitions - operating, as it claims, "under the rule of law" - rather than popularly understood ones. So we must realize that when the government and its Prime Minister uses the term "apology", its understanding of the word is the legal one: namely, "a disclaimer of intentional error or offense".

In other words, on June 11, Stephen Harper will issue to the world a disclaimer to the effect that the Indian Residential Schools were not an intentional offense.

It's not surprising that the Prime Minister will be making such an outrageous and unsupportable claim, since if he ever admitted that the residential schools were intentional, he'd be the first defendant in the dock at an international war crimes trial.

But more important, this effort by our government - and the churches it is protecting - to be absolved of their own crimes is taking place under the illusory pretense of making amends with native people, when its purpose is simply to legally exonerate itself of culpability for the deaths of thousands of children.

This, indeed, has been the norm for both church and state ever since the first lawsuit was launched by residential school survivors in February of 1996. An army of court scholars and legal experts has generated a mountain of "holocaust denial" at every level of Canadian society during the past dozen years, to convince the world that the daily death and torture at the residential schools was not intentional at all.

Such an "apologetic" agenda defies logic and common sense, as in the statements from the government's misnamed "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" scholars that, while evidence shows that residential school children were being buried "four or five to a grave", and that the death rate in these schools stayed constant at fifty percent for over forty years, these deaths were "not intended".

To believe that, one has to ignore the evidence of senior government officials like Dr. Peter Bryce, who found that children were regularly being "deliberately exposed to communicable diseases" in residential schools, and left to die untreated. The word Bryce used was "deliberately". How else, after all, do so many children die?

All of this legal hoop jumping and evasion of responsibility might make sense to the government, and pay the salaries of their intellectual mercenaries, but it does nothing to advance the cause of truth telling and humanity in Canada, and snuffs out the lives of our victims ever more quickly.

I know this all too well, having spent most of my waking hours for years as a counsellor, advocate and chronicler for many aboriginal survivors of the death camps we like to call residential schools. And what I've learned from such work is that we cannot come to grips with something that we don't understand.

The truth is, Euro-Canadian society still doesn't understand what these "schools" were, either at a "head" or a "heart" level. If one believes the officers of the churches and government, the residential schools "issue" is all about money and verbal gymnastics. Yet none of these officials, as far as I know, have broken down and wept in public over the deaths of so many innocent ones; nor have they even offered to return their remains to their families for a proper burial.

Oddly enough, the very same officials continually and glibly speak about "healing the past", without even knowing their own history, and about "solutions" to the "residential school problem", as if they understand what that problem is - not realizing that, to quote
William Shakespeare, "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves."

For in truth, there is not now, nor has there ever been, an "Indian problem" in Canada. Rather, the problem is a "white" one. The problem is with us.

I won't point to collapsing eco-systems or troops in Afghanistan to prove this point. Nor need I pose the paradox of how educated men and women, with families of their own and a professed "Christian morality", could drive needles through infants' tongues at Indian residential schools, throw three year olds down stairs, sterilize healthy kids, and deliberately allow children to cough their lives away from tuberculosis, and then bury them in secret graves.

The evidence of the problem is more immediate, and far closer to home, in our continued segregation of aboriginal people into a lower standard of humanity that allows them to die at a rate fifteen times greater than other people of this country.

After all, if we Canadians are who we imagine ourselves to be - an enlightened society that "assimilated" native people into our ranks, and made them our equals - then why has not a single person ever been brought to trial for the death of a residential school child? Why is the disappearance of tens of thousands of native children in these schools not the subject of a major criminal investigation? And why is there an Indian Act, and not an Irish or an Italian Act?

Being, in reality, an unofficially apartheid society that operates, in practice, with two standards of justice - one for native people, and one for the rest of us - Canada can no more cure the legacy of the residential schools than it can stop chewing up the earth for short-term comfort and profit. At least, not this side of a fundamental moral and social revolution.

The fact that we are far from such a change struck home to me a few months ago when the government's fraudulent "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" announced that, although criminal acts did indeed occur in the residential schools, there would be no criminal investigation of these schools: an unbelievably brazen subversion of justice that evoked not a murmur of protest in the media or among the good citizens and politicians of Canada.

Regardless of this, there are things that can be done to overcome the genocidal residential schools legacy, and do justice, for once, to the survivors.

Rather than issuing verbal and self-serving "apologies" which change nothing, or staging a sham "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" that has no power even to subpoena evidence, the government and all of us could take these kind of bold measures:

1. Declare an Official Nation-wide Day of Mourning for Residential School Victims, dead and living.

2. Fully disclose what happened in the residential schools - naming the crimes, the perpetrators, and the cover-up - by launching an International War Crimes Tribunal with the power to subpoena, arrest and prosecute those responsible.

3. Bring home the remains of all children who died in these schools for a proper burial, and establish public memorial sites for them.

4. Create National Aboriginal Holocaust Museums.

5. End federal tax exemption for the Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada, in accordance with the Nuremburg Legal Principles concerning organizations complicit in crimes against humanity.

6. Abolish the Indian Act and Indian and Northern Affairs.

7. Recognize indigenous sovereignty and return all stolen lands and resources to indigenous nations.

An Irish relative once told me that the way her country is evolving away from eight centuries of warfare is through a simple formula:

"First you remember; then you grieve; then you heal".

Instead of skipping the first two steps, as Mr. Harper and too many of our people are trying to do "apologetically", it is time that Canadians found the courage to truly remember and admit to the world what we did to the first peoples of this land, and grieve our actions in the manner of people who truly rend their own hearts and want to change.

Perhaps then "healing and reconciliation" can become something more than an overworked political catch-phrase.

RCMP evict hereditary chief from B.C. 'band' office
Breaking News on attacks on our people for asserting our rights and jurisdiction:

RCMP EVICT HEREDITARY CHIEF KIAPILANO AND SUPPORTERS FROM SQUAMISH BAND OFFICE, VANCOUVER

Squamish Nation territory ("Vancouver, Canada")

May 24, 2008

On Saturday, May 24th, a force of twenty taser-armed RCMP officers and band council police forced Chief Kiapilano off his own land yesterday during a peaceful occupation of the Squamish band council office by Kiapilano and his supporters.

On Friday morning, May 23rd, Hereditary Squamish Chief Kiapilano and a dozen supporters had swiftly occupied the offices of the state-funded "Squamish Band Council" in North Vancouver, and ordered the eviction of the entire band council.

Chief Kiapilano is leading a movement to expel agencies from his land who are responsible for the genocide of his people. Last March, Kiapilano and Eagle Strong Voice (Kevin Annett) initiated these actions by posting eviction notices on the Roman Catholic, Anglican and United churches in downtown Vancouver, ordering them off Squamish land.

Chief Kiapilano said in a statement from inside the occupied band council office, "Our people are starving, they're living in dilapidated homes, and these so-called 'chiefs' [representing the colonial government] are doing nothing for them. Now 'chief' Bill Williams has signed a deal with the province [British Columbia] allowing mining and destruction of more of our land. We're here today to tell these fake leaders to leave, and we're staying here until they're gone."

Bill Williams left and band council member Byron Joseph stayed. Williams called in the RCMP and band council police. Chief Kiapilano then advised Byron Joseph and his staff to leave the premises, and announced his intention to change the locks on the building.

"We're consulting our [colonial] lawyers" announced Byron Joseph, just before he and his advisors left the building for lunch.

"Chief Kiapilano declared a common law jurisdiction over this building, and has reclaimed it for all of his people", said Irene Peace Kiapilano. "We call on all hereditary chiefs to do likewise, and reclaim their land and government from a foreign occupying power."

Then on Saturday, May 24th, led by RCMP Inspector Richard Kennedy, [phone 604-985-1311 mvanrcmp@rcmp-grc.gc.ca] sixteen heavily armed mounties wearing flak jackets surrounded the band council office. Negotiations were going on between Chief Kiapilano and band council staff. After a lawyer from the Smythe-Ratcliffe firm [Phone 604-687-1231 info@smytheratcliffe.com] spoke to band councillor Byron Joseph, the talks were abruptly cancelled. The mounties blocked the doorways and prevented Kiapilano's supporters from re-entering the office.

"They wouldn't let me back into the building where they had the Chief trapped, so I got out my drum and start drumming" said Irene Peace Kiapilano.

"The cops were ready to attack us. They had their tasers out. I told Inspector Kennedy we had served the eviction notice on Byron Joseph and the band council, and he had accepted it. Kennedy said the federal Minister of Justice said they didn't recognize Chief Kiapilano or our document, even though it had been accepted in their own courts!"

Chief Kiapilano and his supporters were then physically forced from the building under threat of immediate arrest, and escorted off the band council land by a line of RCMP vehicles.

Native elders from the Downtown Eastside Womens' Centre showed up to support Chief Kiapilano. They were verbally threatened, photographed and ordered to leave by the same RCMP squad.

Before leaving, Chief Kiapilano declared three times to the RCMP and band councillors that his eviction order remained in effect. He and his people would return to enforce the order and remove the [illegal] Squamish band council from office.

"We offered them a hand of peace and they responded with violence" said Chief Red Jacket of Turtle Island, a participant in the occupation. "In our law, when that happens, all we have left is to go to war."

Further actions against the agencies responsible for the ongoing genocide of the Squamish people will continue on Sunday, June 1 at 10 am at the former "holy rosary catholic church" at Dunsmuir and Richards in downtown Vancouver. It is now an open community space under the jurisdiction of Chief Kiapilano.

Location of Mass Graves Revealed
Breaking News:
Location of Mass Graves of Residential School Children Revealed for the First Time; Independent Tribunal Established

Squamish Nation Territory ("Vancouver, Canada")
Thursday, April 10, 2008 11:00 am PST

At a public ceremony and press conference held today outside the colonial "Indian Affairs" building in downtown Vancouver, the Friends and Relatives of the Disappeared (FRD) released a list of twenty eight mass graves across Canada holding the remains of untold numbers of aboriginal children who died in Indian Residential Schools.

The list was distributed today to the world media and to United Nations agencies, as the first act of the newly-formed International Human Rights Tribunal into Genocide in Canada (IHRTGC), a non-governmental body established by indigenous elders.

In a statement read by FRD spokesperson Eagle Strong Voice, it was declared that the IHRTGC would commence its investigations on April 15, 2008, the fourth Annual Aboriginal Holocaust Memorial Day. This inquiry will involve international human rights observers from Guatemala and Cyprus, and will convene aboriginal courts of justice where those persons and institutions responsible for the death and suffering of residential school children will be tried and sentenced. (The complete Statement and List of Mass Graves is reproduced below).

Eagle Strong Voice and IHRTGC elders will present the Mass Graves List at the United Nations on April 19, and will ask United Nations agencies to protect and monitor the mass graves as part of a genuine inquiry and judicial prosecution of those responsible for this Canadian Genocide.

Eyewitness Sylvester Greene spoke to the media at today's event, and described how he helped bury a young Inuit boy at the United Church's Edmonton residential school in 1953.

"We were told never to tell anyone by Jim Ludford, the Principal, who got me and three other boys to bury him. But a lot more kids got buried all the time in that big grave next to the school."

Press Statement: April 10, 2008

Mass Graves of Residential School Children Identified – Independent Inquiry Launched

We are gathered today to publicly disclose the location of twenty eight mass graves of children who died in Indian Residential Schools across Canada, and to announce the formation of an independent, non-governmental inquiry into the death and disappearance of children in these schools.

We estimate that there are hundreds, and possibly thousands, of children buried in these grave sites alone.

The Catholic, Anglican and United Church, and the government of Canada, operated the schools and hospitals where these mass graves are located. We therefore hold these institutions and their officers legally responsible and liable for the deaths of these children.

We have no confidence that the very institutions of church and state that are responsible for these deaths can conduct any kind of impartial or real inquiry into them. Accordingly, as of April 15, 2008, we are establishing an independent, non governmental inquiry into the death and disappearance of Indian residential school children across Canada.

This inquiry shall be known as The International Human Rights Tribunal into Genocide in Canada (IHRTGC), and is established under the authority of the following hereditary chiefs, who shall serve as presiding judges of the Tribunal:

Hereditary Chief Kiapilano of the Squamish Nation

Chief Louis Daniels (Whispers Wind), Anishinabe Nation Chief Svnoyi Wohali (Night Eagle), Cherokee Nation

Lillian Shirt, Clan Mother, Cree Nation

Elder Ernie Sandy, Anishinabe (Ojibway) Nation

Hereditary Chief Steve Sampson, Chemainus Nation
Ambassador Chief Red Jacket of Turtle Island

Today, we are releasing to this Tribunal and to the people of the world the enclosed information on the location of mass graves connected to Indian residential schools and hospitals in order to prevent the destruction of this crucial evidence by the Canadian government, the RCMP and the Anglican, Catholic and United Church of Canada.

We call upon indigenous people on the land where these graves are located to monitor and protect these sites vigilantly, and prevent their destruction by occupational forces such as the RCMP and other government agencies.

Our Tribunal will commence on April 15 by gathering all of the evidence, including forensic remains, that is necessary to charge and indict those responsible for the deaths of the children buried therein.

Once these persons have been identified and detained, they will be tried and sentenced in indigenous courts of justice established by our Tribunal and under the authority of hereditary chiefs.

As a first step in this process, the IHRTGC will present this list of mass graves along with a statement to the United Nations in New York City on April 19, 2008. The IHRTGC will be asking the United Nations to declare these mass graves to be protected heritage sites, and will invite international human rights observers to monitor and assist its work.

REPUBLIC OF LAKOTA - GOOD BEGINNING OF YEAR 2008
MNN. January 1, 2008. Colonialism is a disease. It is characterized by fantasies, delusions, greed and destruction of everything in its path. For the past few centuries those who control Europe have been severely afflicted. At one point in the 1800s they thought they could meet in Berlin and decide who owned every corner of the earth. They didn’t even consider the rights or opinions of the Peoples who lived there.

During the 20th century some of these European megalomaniacs had momentary lapses of sanity. They began to realize that war didn’t make sense. They founded the “League of Nations”. That folded because they were not sincere. Unfortunately, their delusions retained such a strong grip on their minds that they didn’t feel the need to talk with the true representatives of other nations. They imagined that they were the only “master civilized race” in the world.

They kept on making wars among each other. World War II involved everyone because of the ravages caused by the colonial disease. Some non-European countries like Japan was also afflicted by the colonial disease. As the disease ran its course, there was another short lapse into sanity. The United Nations was founded to overcome the addiction to war. Its founding charter declared that all humans were equal and some serious efforts were made to regain sanity.

Some of the European megalomaniacs began to let go of their delusions about being the “master race” of the world. Many non-European states were admitted as full members of the UN but the master race kept control. The colonial disease remained so strong that only colonially defined states were recognized. Indigenous nations were excluded.

Meanwhile the colonial disease mutated and took on new forms. Some administrations, like the United States and the Soviet Union began to believe they could be masters of the universe. 160 wars were provoked worldwide. Meanwhile new forms of “colonialism” erupted in the business world. Mega-sized international corporations started trying to gobble up all people, governments and resources as if there was no tomorrow.

Instead of being a cure for de-colonization, the UN developed its own strains of the disease. It became a tool for the addicts. European institutions [like the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and others] were forced onto Indigenous Peoples to set up the colonial theft of our land, labor and material resources. War was promoted as “peacekeeping”.

The international court confirmed that no people could be absorbed into another state without the free and fully informed consent of the majority of the people concerned. However, because of the colonial disease, membership was prohibited to vast numbers of Peoples who had been unlawfully incorporated into foreign colonial boundaries. The UN tried to fudge the issue by establishing a separate Indigenous Forum.

The states most severely afflicted with colonialism are the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand which have been populated by Europeans and other immigrants who invaded as part of the colonial disease. They continued the delusions that they own everything within the boundaries that they imagined during the height of the colonial epidemic. They are still so delusional that they do not even realize that they are sick. The cure is adherence to the principle of equality and sitting down with Indigenous Peoples to work out a solution and a reasonable plan for regaining their mental and social health and the return of what they stole.

The indigenous peoples have struggled to find a cure since the arrival of the colonial epidemic which wiped out 115 million of our people in the Americas. We have repeatedly asked to be left alone. We have retreated to avoid contamination. But the Euopeans continue to chase their addiction. Their own scientists have proven that they have brought the environment perilously close to collapse. They continue to be driven by demons of greed. They don’t seem to be able to stop themselves.

Despite the obvious devastation that has been caused on every corner of the earth that they’ve touched, they continue to tear apart and pollute every nook, vale and ancient plane of the environment. They have seeded clouds with toxic chemicals and created continents of garbage in the ocean. Almost all of the fish are dead. Lakes are full of bubbling sewage of chemical residue. The lush forests that once sheltered our ancestors have been felled. The cities that the Europeans were once so proud of are flooded and being washed away, along with the sacred spawning grounds of fish, the nesting grounds of birds and the habitats of our animal protectors.

They know disaster is at hand. Yet the disease continues to hold them in its deadly grip and they keep trying to infect everybody. The habit of ignoring and defaming Indigenous Peoples continues. We try to coax the colonial addicts out of their madness.

Recently the Lakota decided to give the colonialists another chance to come to their senses. They put out a “Declaration of Continuing Independence ” on December 17, 2007. It’s nothing new. According to ancient principles of international law that were defined and confirmed at the UN, the Lakota and all Indigenous Peoples have always been independent and sovereign. The colonists did not respect the law because they are sick and deluded. But it’s no excuse.

There are signs that many people who were born in colonial society have developed a resistance to the disease. The Lakota Declaration is an attempt to strengthen the processes needed to overcome the illness. It is offering members of the colonial society a reality check and a chance to start treating everyone with equality and respect. It is offering them a chance to rehabilitate themselves and to begin the long slow process of recovering from their addiction and escaping this ravaging disease.

Please find attached the Lakota “Notice to All Foreign Governments and Private Owners of Real Estate” within their Republic. It’s an invitation to a new beginning and has been recognized as such by over 100 nations in the world so far. It is a good way to begin the new year.

The County and Municipal Governments Operating within the Republic of Lakotah; and All Private Owners of Real Estate within the Republic of Lakotah

Lakotah, through its government, have appointed representatives to withdraw from all the treaties with the United States of America.

“LAKOTA NATION” CONFIRMED - THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE U.S.
– PRECEDENT FOR OTHER INDIGENOUS PEOPLES? CAN RETHINKING OF “U.S.” & “CANADA” BE FAR BEHIND? [Story of the year]

MNN. Dec. 25, 2007. The times, they are achangin’. Go to the www.lakotafreedom.com website. There you’ll see Canupa Gluha Mani of the Strong Heart Warrior Society of the Lakota Nation cutting up his colonial driver’s license. He’s doing this because on December 17th 2007 the Lakota delivered their “Declaration of Continuing Independence”, just in time for the Winter Solstice.

The history of Lakota with the U.S. is long, complex and tragic. They knew something had to change. After the Wounded Knee Occupation of 1973, the International Indian Treaty Council was established. From June 8 to 16 1974 the Council called for a “Western Hemisphere” Conference at Standing Rock Sioux. Over 5000 delegates of 97 Indigenous Peoples from the Americas gathered. The “manifesto” that was created on that occasion supports the rights of all Indigenous Peoples to live free and take whatever actions are necessary to uphold our sovereignty.

It is rumored that President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, a powerful world leader, said today that he is considering recognizing the Lakota as an independent nation. Withdrawing from the treaties is entirely legal. It is within the laws on treaties passed at the Vienna Convention and put into effect by the U.S. and the rest of the international community in 1980.

The Lakota never relinquished their lands and have always refused to accept payment estimated close to $1 billion to give up their sovereignty and nationhood. Offering to buy us out means they are acknowledging our sovereignty.

They declared the obvious. The lands belong to the various Indigenous peoples and are clearly defined by the treaties. Where there are no treaties, the U.S. and Canada are squatters. Plain and simple! The indigenous people have the same rights under international law as anyone else, whether a country chooses to acknowledge it or not, as in South Africa. Our vast tracts of land, which have been cared for by our ancestors, continue to be ours despite the delusional fraudulent claims of the colonizing states. Treaties concluded through bribery and with colonial puppets, instead of with valid representatives of our people, are not legal.

It should be borne in mind that most, not all, of the treaties ever made with the colonizers granted them only very limited rights that fall far short of the greedy advantages they imagined. They had no intention of ever living up to any treaty. They were hell bent on stealing everything. The U.S. and Canada came as profiteers and fraudulently tried to steal all our assets.

Such documents were concocted in clear violation of international law then and now. This requires the informed consent of the people concerned. No state can incorporate another unless a clear majority of the people has expressed consent through fairly conducted democratic processes based on a clear question.

The Six Nations Confederacy and the Algonquins are the title holders of most of the eastern half of what is known as the colonies of Canada and northeastern U.S. Our Indigenous laws prohibit alienation of our lands. We hold them as trustees for the coming unborn generations. We refuse to surrender our lands. The implementation of the Indian Act and federal Indian law is genocidal.

According to article VI of the U.S. Constitution, treaties represent the Supreme Law of the Land binding each party to an inviolable international relationship. Those without treaties with the colonists hold their lands independent and free. The only legal authority is Indigenous. Article II sets out the primary nation-to-nation relationship. In Canada Section 109 of the British North America Act 1867 respects the primary authority of the Indigenous peoples.

The U.S. and Canada have violated the independent Indigenous Peoples by “clerical” action, edicts and pronouncements violating our international treaty rights and authority.

The Lakota declaration of withdrawal from the Treaty of Laramie 1868 is vested in the power of the Lakota people and the children. One individual does not represent the nation. The nation represents the individual. The withdrawal is for the people, elders, mothers, fathers and children including the unborn faces beneath the ground.

The Treaty of Laramie was never honored. It’s been a colonial catastrophe, which was not its intent on our part. Indigenous children are still being taken away putting them out of balance from learning the traditional life ways. The true way is to be free and left to govern and look after our own with the teachings of the animal nations. This is about the Lakota Nation and the Animal People who are no longer here. “We are the Lakota Nation of Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana”. We are alerting the Family of Nations of our action with the backing of Indigenous, international and U.S. law.

Should all Indigenous nations of Onowaregeh, Turtle Island, assert our freedom and independence, what would happen? The action of the “Lakota” is going to have repercussions far and wide.

The colonists would go out of business, especially the oligarchs. They would have to work out agreements with all the Indigenous people on whose land they are squatting. Indigenous “liens” on buildings, development, resource extraction and all activities on our land will have to be governed and executed by us. Each Indigenous nation will assert our power over our lands, assets and resources. The colonies of U.S. and Canada will just have to become law abiding. They will have to learn to respect indigenous and international law. This will not bring a catastrophe for the ordinary people living on our land. They just have to come to terms with the reality that they are living within our jurisdiction, that they are visitors on our land and that they are required to follow our law.

The pointlessness of their former reliance on their handpicked “Indian” puppets set up by the colonial Indian Act band councils and federal Indian law tribal councils will become obvious. These sell-outs will have to live amongst their relatives without colonial power and support. Whisky, money and guns will lose their mystical attraction.

The Lakota call upon the world to support this struggle for sovereignty and treaty rights. They pledge their assistance to all sovereign people who seek their independence.

The Lakota have invited those living on their lands to join them. Lakota will issue permits to them, passports, driver’s licenses and other documents. Living there would be tax free providing the residents renounce their U.S. citizenship.

The Lakotah are to open negotiations with the State Department of the U.S. government to establish diplomatic relations. They are setting up offices in Washington and New York City.

Are we going to see the other nations of Turtle Island asserting sovereignty? Don’t let those “dirty rotten lawyers” meddle or intervene.

They’re not the ones who decide what the law is. The law belongs to the people. As our ancestors told us, “One nation will take the issue so far.

Then another will take it further. Until we all regain everything that is ours”.

So who’s next?

ANOTHER LEONARD PELTIER SCANDAL IN THE MAKING
U.S. EXTRADITION ATTEMPT OF JOHN GRAHAM FOR ALLEGED MURDER OF ANNA MAE AQUASH

MNN. May 12, 2007. John Graham, an Indigenous man from the Northwest Territories in Canada, is being accused by the U.S. authorities of participating in the murder of Indigenous woman, Anna Mae Pictou-Aquash, another “Canadian”. This happened more than 30 years ago. Both were members of the American Indian Movement [AIM]. Since when did the U.S. ever go after someone for killing an Indian? What’s behind it? John Graham is currently awaiting an extradition hearing in Vancouver, scheduled for May 17th, 2007. He has been under house arrest there since his apprehension in December 2003.

John Graham is well known for his lobbying on Turtle Island and Europe against Uranium mining in Canada and the Black Hills in South Dakota. This could be a factor in his being victimized by the U.S. and the FBI. They want to destroy an articulate Indigenous spokesman. Due to his strict bail conditions he can’t work. His main resource is worldwide support for his advocacy.

Forgotten by the U.S. and FBI is the reign of terror in the 1970s on Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. This was after the take over of “Wounded Knee” by the Lakota and their supporters. There has never been an investigation into the deaths of 64 native people. Many of these cases have been well documented and made public since then. Authorities have done nothing to try to achieve justice in these cases.

Just like the Leonard Peltier case, true to form, U.S. government agents are not using real evidence against Graham because they have none. Their case is based on hearsay “evidence” concocted by coerced witnesses. Peltier was convicted over 30 years ago for allegedly killing two FBI agents in a shoot out on Pine Ridge reservation. It’s all been discredited. This time they are relying on testimony of another Indigenous man even though it is “so full of big holes you could drive a truck through it,” as John Graham’s lawyer has put it.

A well known FBI tactic used as part of COINTELPRO [counter intelligence program] was “bad-jacketing” where AIM members were falsely accused in order to cause internal conflict. Other well documented FBI tactics are infiltration, also with the purpose of causing internal conflict, and falsely charging and jailing innocent people. One of the first rumors initiated by the FBI was that Anna Mae was an FBI informant. This was ridiculous! After her death, the FBI then spread the rumor that she was killed by AIM.

A lot of people know John. No one has seen any evidence that he is capable of violence. No matter what our people do, we don’t have a tradition of killing our own. We are not Europeans.

There are all kinds of weird issues like the two autopsy reports. After the first autopsy, the FBI said she died of exposure. The family insisted on a second autopsy, which clearly showed she was shot in the back of the head. There have been lots of violations of due process. Canada has not even asked to look at the evidence.

Why is Canada so anxious to turn John Graham over to the U.S.? Is it to legitimize an unethical extradition treaty?

It’s a standard tactic to tie people up in court, take their resources and keep them from doing resistance work. This reflects the Canadian government’s racist approach. Canada is taking an unexamined approach to this case, passively following the U.S. lead.

The US and Canada have essentially agreed to rely on a handshake and a brief procedural review of the documents. Canada pretends to assume the US Government will act in good faith when prosecuting a case against a Canadian citizen. The lawyers are not allowed to see the evidence, even though they have raised many important issues which are not being addressed.

It is unconstitutional and a violation of international law for the Canadian Government to uphold only the rights of the United States in these proceedings. These practices do not allow Canadians to be protected as in other court proceedings. In this case, as an Indigenous person who never agreed to become “Canadian”, John isn’t a “citizen”. He’s deemed to be a citizen by the colonial state of Canada.

Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms and sovereignty are in question when it allows a foreign nation with such an evil history of prosecutorial abuse to override its laws. Canada fears defending this individual against the foreign government's claim, even though there is plenty of reason to expect that the charges are false and malicious.

At the very least the Government of Canada, and the Ministry of Justice should make sure there is hard evidence submitted that can withstand reasonable scrutiny; that John Graham be provided with sufficient funding to mount a complete defense; and that the proceedings for extradition be open and accountable to the public.

The U.S. is in the habit of walking all over Canada. They’ve done it time and time again. Amnesty International has condemned the FBI for using false evidence to extradite Leonard Peltier from Canada in 1976. He’s been in jail every since. Amnesty International has called for his immediate release on the grounds that he no longer has adequate recourse to justice.

Once again the US authorities are presenting questionable evidence, this time to extradite John Graham. Violations of established legal standards seems to have become habitual in the U.S. Note the international outcry over U.S. violations at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. We have to wonder why Canada is pandering to a known human rights abuser.

Amnesty International in 2003 demanded that “there must be scrupulous respect for due process and fair trial proceedings…” They demand to know about “possible political interference in the course of justice”.

This case is another example of what the U.S. does. They want to destroy Indigenous opposition by publicly crucifying us. They know we have the legal interest to the land and resources and will protect it. This is a tactic to scare us, by extraditing us and putting us on big public trials and a media show to try to paint us as criminal and unworthy people. The U.S. way relies on fascist policing and terrorizing the opposition.

The world community has to get involved. Human Rights organizations, First Nations Chiefs, trade unions and other groups have expressed their concern about John Graham's case. Please add your voice now in defense of justice by emailing or writing to the following:
